More WW2 Submarine Stuff

 

There are many great web sites with information about WW2 Submarines, their equipment and operations.

The Historical Naval Ships Association has a great site.

Their Sound and Video web page has recordings of sonar sounds as well as that of sonobuoys, attacks on a Japanese Battleship, emergency calls/alarms and much, much more!

The HNSA web site also has a page with many old naval manuals in HTML format.

Those of you interested in the USS COD and other WW2 Fleet Submarines will really enjoy this manual.

It is full of diagrams, schematics and photos.  Here are links to just a couple of the diagrams.
